Company History

Daley & Wanzer has been in business since the late 1800s beginning as a local express company. Originally, Daley & Wanzer would transport the belongings of summer tourists and beach goers from the boats to their hotels or homes. This created a bond with the people on vacation and always brings back the memories of Nantasket beach and Paragon Park in their heyday. In 1915, the Fleck family purchased Daley & Wanzer, and continued to run the business just like the former proprietors, Mr. Daley & Mr. Wanzer. The first generation took special pride in keeping the Daley & Wanzer reputation for excellence in service intact. The second generation took this opportunity to expand our service. This is based upon the solid foundation that the founding fathers built with our service to the summer residents. As the suburban community grew, so did the company due to Daley & Wanzer, Inc. At this same time we include motorized vehicles in its fleet, thus allowing us to cover a greater distance than with just the horse and buggy. The expanded regions included Greater New England as well as New York. With the third generation came sunnier skies. These same residents that originally were coming to Nantasket Beach for summers were now heading to Florida to retire. As time has passed, we increased our trips to Florida on a weekly basis. As always, there are midpoint stops along our route. With the fourth generation quickly moving up the ranks, Daley & Wanzer is continuing to build upon its reputation of quality service. As all of the generations have said:
